It was a cold, windy day…a blustery kind of day.   Nope, it doesn’t look like it from these images (well, most of them) but it was CHILLY was us Floridians!  But we were there and the beach was empty to we shot the session anyway.  And you know what?  We experienced true magic. Never in my beach photographing life have I seen soon many sea birds at the beach!  I feel like we were witnessing some kind of once in a lifetime migration or something. So what do you do with a once in a lifetime opportunity?  You make the most of it!  To get the girls warmed up, I suggested they run around the beach a bit and chase the birds.  Well I didn’t have to tell them twice because off they went!  We may have ticked off some nearby bird watchers, but it was totally worth it in my book!  These bird images were EPIC!  We spent the rest of our session running up and down the beach and keeping our bodies warm.  And because it was so windy, I brought out my kite to add a tiny bit more of magic 🙂  The girls loved it, but I think they need some more kite flying lessons in their future. LOL

It was so great seeing you all again, L Family!  Until next year!!
