A Mommy and Me Session in Davis Island

Ahh. I’m just going to go ahead and be a basic millennial and say ” I can’t with these two!” How adorable is their relationship? Mommy emailed me and said that her little boy is growing up too fast and she wants to capture this cute time in his life before he gets even bigger. As a mama of 3, I can totally relate to this. I think all mom’s can! I blinked and now my oldest is in high school?! How does that even happen? Time is a thief, I’ll tell you. The only way to cheat this is through taking pictures of course! And the time is NOW! Not when you lose 10 more pounds, not when you dye your hair.. NOW!
Mom and I met at Davis Islands park for a little mini sesh for her and her little man. Davis Islands is one of my new favorite places to shoot in South Tampa. And 30 minutes is all it takes to capture this exact time in your life.
Zev is the cutest! Isn’t he? Look at those big blue eyes! And let me tell you..he is a ham! He had the best time cuddling with his mama, telling her secrets, and throwing rocks into the bay. A storm rolled in at the end of our time together, creating the coolest clouds. Of course I had to capitalize on them. Dramatic clouds are my fave! At the end of our time together mom said “My only regret is not doing this sooner!” What does that tell you?! MOMS- Get in FRONT of the lens more often. Your children will only remember the love that they felt in that moment. Not the color of your hair or those few extra pounds that never seem to go anywhere.
