Today was one of those days in the adventures of a Clearwater family photographer.  One of those MAGICAL days.  But it actually didn’t start magical at all.  First – the weather decided to be all weathery and rain on the way to this session.  Not only that, but there was a major accident on the main route to the beach which caused both me and this gorgeous family to arrive late.  But when we finally did arrive, the skies parted!  I swear, I could hear that sound effect they play on TV when something truly remarkable happens.  Or like when Homer Simpson finally get’s his hands on a Duff beer.

So we all headed out to the beach!  This session was all about embracing the amazing chaos that happens with a family this size.  And it don’t mean that in a bad way at all!  Honestly, shooting big families is one of my most favorite things to do.  There’s always something to capture.  The sisters building a sand castle, the boys splashing in the waves, dancing, drawing hearts in the sand, and searching for seashells.  All of these factor in to make a truly unique session.  Plus, since it rained minutes before, the most dramatic sunset formed.  And check out that full moon!  We truly were able to capture so many magical elements during this session.

S Family- I always have the most fun with you!  And I leave so happily exhausted :). I can’t wait to do it again next year!
