Honeymoon Island.  A gorgeous place to spend your day.  It’s not usually crowded (less Photoshop for me), the sunsets are incredible, and there are no hotels in the background.  But for some reason, it storms EVERY SINGLE TIME I shoot here!  The forecast said 15% chance of precipitation, which in Florida summer terms basically means 0%.  Well, thank you weather man.  You got it a bit wrong!

A little Florida summer storm wasn’t going to stop us from creating some magic.  We were already there, my family was dressed to impress, and we had a cake to smash!  So we decided to take our chances and shoot until the rain or lightning forced us to leave.  Little Noah is turning one, so we just had to make this work!  And that we did!  I think those dramatic storm clouds worked in our favor. You know I love a crazy sky!  And guess what?  We finished just in time.  As soon as we got into our cars to go home, it started pouring and lightning EVERYWHERE!  I even got to snap a rainbow that made it’s debut.  Check it out!
