While I rarely do mini sessions at the beach, sometimes I make exceptions! This mama contacted me and informed me that she’d only be in town to visit her mother for a few short days and would love to document some special Florida moments.  She seemed super sweet and I happened to have a spot on my calendar, so everything just fell into place!  We met at (you guessed it!) Honeymoon Island Beach and right away the sweetest twin sisters greeted me with their blue eyes and sleepy smiles.  They of course fell asleep in the car on the way there.  For my kids, this would be a nightmare for the next thirty minutes because my girls can be so grouchy when they wake up (They must take after their mother).  But for these girlies, they saw the beach and right away ran toward the seagulls on the shore.  Of course I grabbed my camera right away and began snapping away.  They ended up being some of my most favorite images from this session!

Grandma came along for the ride so of course I asked her to get in some photos too.  She was a bit reluctant and gave me every excuse under the sun, but I told her that the girls would have these memories forever.  I guaranteed her that when they look back at these images, they will NOT be thinking how grandma wasn’t dressed to the nines, or how she didn’t have enough lipstick on.  They will only remember their happy memories with her.  Hook, sink and line I got her!  And just look at these images that she could’ve missed out on!  So let this serve as a disclaimer:  If you are coming to a photo session as a spectator – I will make sure you get in on the fun too!
