Family Photography at Sand Key Park
It’s my favorite season to be a family photographer in Clearwater Beach! Summa summa summa time! Ok, it’s not technically considered summer yet, but if you live here or have visited lately, it may as well be. And you know what that means? Rainy afternoons that leave cotton candy clouds in their wake. The most dramatic sunsets happen after the rain! This is why if you’ve booked with me, I don’t like to cancel due to rain until the last minute. Annoying, I know. But worth it? YES.
The H Family came to escape the cold from Minnesota and to enjoy the warmth of Clearwater. They were staying near the hustle and bustle of Pier 60, so we went down the street to Sand Key Park. I love it here because there’s always plenty of parking and it’s more of a locals spot and typically doesn’t get too crowded. It was a bit of a windy day, but we made the best of it! If we hadn’t, we wouldn’t have experienced one of the best sunsets I’d seen in a while! The kids loved running up and down the beach and collecting numerous seashells while I happily snapped away. My favorite image of them all is that silhouette photo! Absolutely stunning!
H Family, I hope you come back for another vacation the next time it starts to get cold again in Minnesota. And from what I heard.. that must by September, right?!
