You know you had fun with a family when the session begins with some cliche beach pics with facial masks on and ends with jumps in the pool with their clothes still on!  As soon as this mom contacted me and we started chatting, we just clicked (See what I did there?  Yes, I’m punny) We bonded over our love of the beach and Disney!  I love establishing relationships with my clients prior to meeting them in person.  It makes those first 10-15 minutes so much easier to get families comfortable in front of my lens.

This family was a BLAST!  They wanted to create the perfect Christmas card photo with took the cliche “Hey, look at us!  We’re warm on the beach in Florida! Aren’t you so jealous?!” image but then put a 2020 spin on it while wearing facial masks.  I literally giggled to myself while editing them.  Such a perfect idea to get everyone laughing during a year full of craziness!  Their daughter is also a gymnast.  If you come to a session and tell me that there’s a gymnast, dancer, or a sport you can demonstrate your skills – I WILL MAKE YOU SHOW ME!  And why not?  Its a great memory and you should be proud of your kids skills that make them unique!  And of course her gymnastics movies made for some really cool images.  We wrapped up our crazy fun session with some pics of them jumping into their pool at their condo.  Definitely a first for me, but I hope not my last!
