When your grandparents, cousins, aunt and uncle are in town from a colder, northern state – you of course make them bring their best outfits and take them to the beach to make them alllll kinds of jealous. Then you have a photographer take their picture so you can remember their jealous faces 🙂  Haha, just kidding.  (No, I’m really not)  But what better way to celebrate all the relationships with one another than to spend an evening at the beach watching the sunset.

When I shoot extended family sessions, I feel kind of like a ping pong ball!  I get all of the posey images done first when everyone is on their best behavior and still clean and dry.  Then it’s pretty much a free-for-all!  I let each family do their thang and try not to let them know I’m stalking them with my camera.  The candid images are always become my favorite. Just look at all of their genuine laughs and smiles!  That’s my jam right there.  And the pretty sunset behind them didn’t hurt either.

Thank you P family, for letting capture all of your sweet moments together!!
