Sometimes begin a photographer also means that I get to pretend to be a meteorologist.  I mean, it makes sense.  Every morning of a session, I wake up and check the weather.  If it looks like it could rain (which is pretty much everyday in the summer time), then I start digging deeper and looking at wind speeds as well as the radar.  Well rain was 0% chance today, but when we arrived at the beach, I thought the sky looked a bit misty.  Not thinking that much about it, we went ahead and shot a gorgeous mommy and me session.  Come to find out the next day on my weather sleuthing that dust from the African Sahara Desert has made its way into the Gulf!  How cool!

Mom is a fellow photographer, which is a huge honor for me!  And it always gets me nervous too!  I think the dust carried a bit of magic with it though because this session was stunning in every way.  And her daughters were so fun and silly.  They made my job super easy!  After twirling, playing with bubbles, and flying my new kite it was time to go home.  Jennifer, I hope you love and cherish these images of you and your girls!  I have all the heart eyes for them!
