As a Tampa Bay Family Photographer, I capture a fair share of beach sessions.  Each sunset is truly unique.  But every so often, I get a sunset that really just stops you in your tracks and forces you to take in the real life magic that surrounds you.

The morning of our session, I checked the forecast as I always do and it said 10% chance of rain.  To any Floridian, that basically means ZERO.  Honestly, anything under 30% to me means zero.  Maybe the meteorologists didn’t have enough coffee that morning, because just as I started driving toward the beach, rain started pitter pattering on my windshield.  Meh, it will pass soon.  Nope!  As I got closer, we had to make a Plan B.  We ultimately decided to wait out the rain since we were both so close to the session location already.  The photography gods were on our side that evening because as soon as we arrived, the clouds parted and let in the most beautiful sunset!

Not only did we get perfect weather, this family truly enjoyed every second with each other.  Mommy is pregnant and wants to cherish the time with her daughter before they become a party of 4.  I definitely remember that feeling and wanted to capture as many moments as I could.  There was no limit of big, contagious smiles!

I am so glad we decided to stick around and wait for the storm to clear.  Z Family, it was my pleasure and I hope to see you as a party of 4 soon!
