THIS MATERNITY SESSION WAS EPIC!  Before her session, I told Ashley that I had a vision for this maternity session.  I was going for more moody and emotional.  Ummm…NAILED IT.  We had to reschedule our session once due to the rain and really didn’t want to have to reschedule again being that we’re on a time clock!  That baby won’t wait until we reschedule for a cloudless, sunny evening so we went for it anyway.  When we arrived at Cypress Point Park, all I could see was impending doom.  Black clouds threatened to cancel our session but we agreed that we would shoot until the rain started.  I even scouted this cool grassy area right next to the parking lot to shoot in just in case we had to make a run for it.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.  The photography gods were with us that night!  Everything came together like MAGIC.  I was going for moody, right?!  Why not add some dark, ominous clouds to the background of our session?  They totally added another amazing element to these images and I’m so excited about how they turned out.  And guess what?  The rain held off until the end of our session!  Can I get a Hallelujah!? I also need to give Kudos to Ashley.  She ordered from her dress from my favorite designer of maternity dresses, Fillyboo.  They can make even the most miserable pregnant woman feel like a magical unicorn!  She paired it with a real flower crown made from a local nursery called Fancy Free Nursery.  If you live in the Tampa area, you HAVE to check them out!

Ashley, you were a dream to work with!  Thanks for taking the chance with me to shoot on a crazy rainy day!
