Yes, my friends.  I am still playing catch up on all the sessions I shot this summer.  I am so behind in fact that this lovely mama has already given birth and I’ve already shot his newborn session!  Maybe I’ll get around to blogging that one next year sometime.  I kid, I kid. (Maybe not though seeing as though 2022 is right around the corner)

I have been capturing this lovely family for a few years now.  I can’t even describe how much it means to me when families choose me to continue to document their family year after year.  I love being apart of all of their important milestones.  In this case, a combined maternity/family session.

We originally met at my favorite spot on Honeymoon Island only to be greeted by a huge No Trespassing sign.  Fun fact, this usually won’t deter me from using a spot quickly as long as it doesn’t pose any danger.  But in this case, it was a construction zone so we had to quickly come up with Plan B. So the dog beach became our new spot!  Now, I’ve been to the dog beach before and I don’t have the fondest memories there.  Probably because I stepped in a huge pile of doggy doo and felt like no matter how much I scrubbed, it still would never be clean enough.  So this time I made sure to pay close attention to where we were all stepping.

And success!  We were able to capture a ton of amazing family and maternity images and we all left with no poop on our feet!  Sometimes you just need to celebrate the small successes in life…

A Family –  You guys are the best.  Thanks for always being flexible and going along with my craziness.  I am so happy for your now family of four!
