Clearwater Beach photography never ceases to amaze me.  Every single family has their own unique story to tell and capturing it all in front of a Clearwater Beach sunset is such a privilege.  Tonights session was a bit windy, but we didn’t let that bother us at all!  In fact, there are some instances when I think a bit more wind enhances a family session.  Think of a supermodel in front of a fan…the moving air just amps up the images.  In this case, I think the wind added all the feels, especially in the mommy/son images.  What do you think?

You can just tell this family has so much fun together.  I barely had to instruct them.  They just look the lead, had their own fun, and I was their personal paparazzi to capture it all!  And guess who decided to join in on the fun?  The evil seagulls, of course!  If you know me, you know my extreme distaste for these creatures.  I can’t argue that they enhance a beach photograph though.  They just don’t enhance ANYTHING ELSE!  Don’t believe me?  Get your favorite sandwich made, sit down on a tranquil spot on the beach.  Listen to the waves, smell the salty air, and take a bite.  BAM!  Your sandwich has been violently taken by a wicked seagull.  What a perfect way to kill the mood.   Ok, I totally didn’t mean for this gorgeous family blog post to be taken over by my extreme feelings about seagulls.  I just couldn’t help myself. Sorry!

N Family, thank you so much for making my job so easy.  I would love to see you all again on your next trip to Clearwater!
