Did you know that golf courses weren’t just made for golfers?  They were made for people like me who are always on the lookout for session locations!  I met this beautiful family at their home in Brooksville and  they showed me the golf course in their very own backyard. Duh!  It was a no-brainer that we had to shoot here.  I’ve been shooting at the beach so much lately that I *almost* forgot just how pretty our Florida land is!  Between the statuesque oak trees, Spanish moss glowing with golden light, and rolling hills there was no shortage of beauty here!  This is pretty much the only time you’ll catch me on a golf course.  Sorry, Tiger.  I just find golf incredibly boring.

This was such a different kind of a session for me!  We rode around on their golf cart and stopped at all the pretty spots.  We’d hop out, snap a family photo, run around, twirl, and then we’d hop back in to go find the next spot.  That golf cart was a godsend too because it relieved us of the heat and humidity that tends to plague our Florida summers.  I really enjoyed our photographic adventure!  And I’m pretty sure they enjoyed it too (as well as that giant cup of icy water that we had afterwards)!  Thank you, G Family for having me at your home.  I might have to use this golf course for future sessions!
