{ Indian Rocks Beach Photographer }

In today’a adventures of an Indian Rocks Beach Photographer, I had the privilege of capturing a big extended family who were all vacationing together.  They weren’t all able to be together during Christmas, so the next best thing was scheduling a vacation in sunny Florida in one big house.  And wow, what a beautiful vacation home they were able to reserve! They even brought their own Christmas tree complete with ornaments, lights and of course, PRESENTS!

Ever wonder how an extended family session works?  Well this session spells it out perfectly.  I typically start with a few group shots while everyone is still clean, dry, and ready to flash their best smiles.  Then, I grab all the kiddos portraits together and on their own (again, while they are still dry!).  Next, I break up each immediate family and shoot them on their own.  Then, everyone comes back together for a group sunset shot.  Lastly, my personal favorite, CANDIDS!  By this time. everyone is ready to let loose and just do what they do best together – have fun!

M Family, you guys were a blast to hang out with.  I’d love to see you all again for your next Christmas celebration!
