Sometimes all of the stars just align.  And when this happens, I am truly grateful.  Grateful for my sweet clients, grateful for Mother Nature for putting on a show with her sunset and cotton candy clouds, and even grateful for seagulls who added a little something extra to this couples session.  ( Yes, if you know me then you must also know my true hatred for seagulls on most days.) This couple reached out to me wanting to document their trip to Florida from Minnesota.  They came to enjoy our warm weather and also to visit Disney.  (Side note- I realized that if this photographer thing doesn’t work out, I am totally going to become a Disney vacation planner.  I didn’t realize how many tips and tricks I have to offer people who don’t visit there dozens of times a year like I do  😉  )

When she showed up to their session in this dress, I thought she looked like a Disney princess.  And her husband of course is her Prince Charming.  Sometimes the weirdest things can get my creative juices flowing.  This time around it was her stunning dress as well as this huge flock of seagulls that were apparently having a feast like they were at the Sizzler.  So I began enviosning Disney princesses and how they are just head over heels for their prospective prince husbands.  Thats how I went about shooting, using the seagulls in the background to add that little extra of magic.  Just call me their Fairy Photographer Godmother!

Kristina and Jacob, thank you so much for acting out my Disney princess fantasies and being a good sport about my crazy ideas!  I hope you truly enjoyed Florida and I’m grateful I was able to freeze some of your memories for you!  Now come back soon, y’all hear?!
